Jennifer Roy is the owner of Urban Emporium and a member of the Bexley Board. Jennifer and her family have proudly called Bexley home for over 20 years. In 2006, Jennifer began crafting accessories from discarded clothing and fabrics, leading to the creation of Re-Jen Recycled Arts to sell her creations at local art fairs across Ohio. She specialized in repurposing materials such as silk saris, cotton cloth, and wool and cashmere sweaters, transforming them into unique hats, mittens, scarves, and jewelry. By 2015, Jennifer, along with three other local artisans, co-founded Urban Emporium, a shop dedicated to selling locally made goods. By 2019, she became the sole owner and operator of Urban Emporium, which now features handcrafted gifts from over 150 makers.
