Upcoming Special City Council Meetings
Council President Richard Sharp has called two special City Council meetings this week. Read on for details.June 17, 6:30-9 p.m.: City Council Appointment Interviews
Tomorrow evening, City Council will interview prospective new members to fill the current vacancy on Council. The public is welcome to attend the interviews.
June 18, 7:30-8:30 p.m.: City Council Vote & Readings
This Wednesday, City Council will vote to appoint a new member of Council and to read ordinances that require readings before the July recess.
June 24, 6 p.m.: Regular City Council Meeting
City Council will still meet at its regular time and date next Tuesday, June 24.
June 24, 7 p.m.: Appeals Hearing for Main Street Redevelopment
At 7 p.m., during the regular Council meeting, the appeals hearing for the Cup of Joe redevelopment on Main Street will take place.

This weekend kicks off the summer reading program at the Bexley Public Library. This year the whole community is invited to read with special programs and raffles for teens and adults! Kids signing up for the Summer Reading Program will receive a coupon for a free children’s book from the Friends of the Bexley Public Library Sale also this weekend! Saturday May 31st is the launch of the Little Libraries! Trinity Seminary Choir to Perform Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass

Trinity Seminary Choir, chamber orchestra, and soloists will perform Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass on Friday, April 25, at 8:00 p.m. in the Gloria Dei Worship Center on the campus of Trinity Lutheran Seminary, 2199 East Main Street.  The event is free and open to the public.

Soloists include Sara Wilson, soprano; Rianne Marcum, mezzo; C. Andrew Blosser, tenor; and Robin Rice, bass.  The choir sings under the direction of May Schwarz, professor of Church Music and director of the Master of Arts in Church Music Program at Trinity. Carol Ann Bradley will serve as organist.

The Music begins at 7:30 p.m. A freewill offering will be received. Free parking is available.
